SkillMap is a discovery platform and management tool for "Agent Skills" (Model Context Protocol servers and configuration files) designed for AI coding assistants. We provide:

• A curated marketplace for discovering skills.
• A desktop application for synchronizing skills to local environments.
• Tools for developers to publish and manage their skills.

2. Use of Third-Party Skills (Important Disclaimer)

2.1 Nature of Skills: The "Skills" listed on SkillMap are predominantly created by third-party developers and the open-source community. While we perform automated security scans, we cannot guarantee that any Skill is error-free, bug-free, or malicious-free.

2.2 User Responsibility: You acknowledge that installing and running a Skill involves executing code on your local machine or server. You assume full responsibility for reviewing the source code and understanding the permissions granted to any Skill you install.

2.3 Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkillMap shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of any Skill downloaded from our platform, including but not limited to data loss, system instability, or security breaches.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Upload or distribute Skills that contain malware, viruses, crypto-miners, or malicious scripts.
• Attempt to bypass our security scans or API rate limits.
• Scrape or bulk-download our database without explicit permission.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent the functionality of your Skills.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Platform: The SkillMap interface, logo, design, and underlying platform code are the property of SkillMap.

4.2 User Submissions: You retain ownership of any Skills you submit to the marketplace. By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your Skill on our Services.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
